Our Brazil is from the Cocarive Cooperative, a group of farmers from Carmo de Minas whose primary objective is to work together to produce the best coffees.
This region is located on the slopes of Serra de Mantiqueria, near the headwaters of the Rio Verde. In fact, the word Mantiqueria comes from the Tupi for "the crying mountain" due to the abundance of natural spring water. The land here is very fertile and is supported by a constantly mild climate and predictable weather patterns, making drying conditions ideal.
In the cup, Carmo de Minas possesses a medium body with vanilla aromatics, and hints of honey, white grape, Granny Smith apple, and a creamy lime finish! It is a major testament to the farmers' dedication to quality and exellence!
