The Yama Easy Pot EP-1

The Yama Easy-Pot is a unique little brewer that's ideal for the home or office and combines a glass cup with a removable infuser. 

It's not really a press, it's not really a pourover brewer, it's kind of in a category that it shares with the Clever Coffee Dripper.  Kind of like a cross between the two.  

Because it only brews 11 ounces at a time, it's ideal as a single cup brewer.  

The brew quality is exceptional. We were shocked the first time we used it, but the reality is, you control the extraction time and water temp.  Since there is no paper or cloth filter, all the oils, and microparticles that may be filtered out with other brew methods make it to your cup.  

How it Works

• Grind your coffee to a medium/coarse grind.  This will minimize fines (sediment) in your brewed cup.
• Boil water in kettle.
• Pour just off of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of fresh ground coffee.
• Set timer for 4:00
• At 1:30, give coffee a stir
• At four minutes remove the lid, which doubles as a coaster, and slowly lift top half - releasing the coffee through the metal micro-filter, into the lower pot and place top half on coaster.  
• Drink and enjoy!
