In Japanese, HARIO means "The King of Glass." Their high-quality coffee brewing equipment and grinders are fast becoming the favorite of serious coffee enthusiasts in the west.

Hario's newest hand mill to reach the U.S. will become a favorite!  The "Canister" C coffee mill is the perfect combination of traditional styling and modern performance features.  Though it looks like an old fashioned coffee grinder, Hario has engineered some pretty cool features into it.  

Like the Skerton mill, the Canister C has the same nut adjustment to alter your grind and it does a great job.  Also, the burrs are made from ceramic, so it's easy to clean! 

The glass canister holds 120 grams of coffee so it's possible for a user to grind more than one pot of coffee at a time.  Not only will it grind a lot of coffee at a time, the seal and latch closure allow you to store it in an airtight environment.  The included cork plug (not pictured) seals off the burrs - and air - from reaching the grounds, so it truly is airtight.  

Also, a detachable rubber canister base (not pictured) helps to keep the mill from sliding around on the countertop when you're cranking away.

Finally, Hario has included a handy plastic hopper cover that prevents beans from flying out while you're grinding.  Anyone who has used the Skerton knows what I'm talking about.  This cover isn't needed to grind beans, but when you're starting with a full hopper, it will sure be appreciated!
