New Coffee – El Salvador

Today I’ll be offering a new coffee to our inventory. It’s a Fair Trade, Certified Organic, Rain Forest Alliance coffee from El Salvador and it’s excellent!

There’s nothing particularly unique about this coffee other than it’s very well balanced, smooth and delicious!

I’ve roasted these to a Vienna roast, so it’s not extremely dark, but none of the natural bean flavor is diminished by the flavor characteristics emparted by the darker roasts.

Come down and check it out!

Regarding darker roasts….I’ve had the pleasure of talking to many different coffee enthusiasts this past week and it’s been interesting to see the varied taste preferences in our community. I know some of you (Swedes) are waiting for a really dark roast.  Good news!  I’m experimenting with my own Mörkroast.  I’ll let you know when it’s ready.

Also, some have commented that the Guatemala, Sumatra and Dala Cowboy Blend that I’ve offered so far are a little stronger than they prefer.  Not to worry, I will be introducing some lighter roasts soon as well!

On a separate note, thanks to Kalle Lilla for the nice writeup at Lindsborger News!  I hope you like your El Salvador, Kalle!  I’ll let you know when I get the Swedish roast done.
